Job Overvie w:

The Quality Inspector will ensure all products and processes meet company standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials (preferred) and proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). The Quality Inspector must have a strong understanding of Non-Destructive Testing methods, and proven expertise in inspection techniques for manufacturing processes. This role will work directly with the QA Manager and Production Manager to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standard s.

Key Responsibiliti es:

Work directly with the QA Manager and Production Manager to develop and implement quality inspection process es.

Perform detailed inspections of manufactured components, welds, and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and engineering drawin gs.

Utilize NDT techniques (such as

VT, MT, PT, UT

) to evaluate material integrity and detect potential defec ts.

Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc .).Interpret and apply welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO) to manufacturing process es.

Document inspection findings and generate quality reports, including non-conformance reports (NCR s).Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and resolve quality issu es.

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer quality requiremen ts.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality process es.

Train and mentor team members about inspection best practices and quality standar ds.

Participate in audits and customer inspections as requir ed.
