Job Description
Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector for a well-established company. The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Inspector role will be responsible for inspecting parts, including first-article inspections, daily in-process inspections, and final inspections.
Mechanical Inspector Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- 1-3 years' experience in an inspection role in a manufacturing environment
- Read technical drawings and understand geometric tolerancing
- Expertly use various hand tools to measure parts (micrometer, drop indicator, etc.)
- Understand how to set up high-precision repeatable measurements
- Operate measuring microscope and optical comparator
- Operate CMM and vision measurement system
- Perform "First Piece" inspections and record results
- Perform Daily AQL inspections on a variety of parts
- Perform Final inspections and record results
- Keep accurate manual and computer records as required
Mechanical Inspector Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $55K - $65K, based on experience
