Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30

PM Job Type:

Full-Time A growing precision metal manufacturing company in West Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to inspect precision-machined and assembled components.

Responsibilities:

Perform first-piece, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections Inspect precision-machined metal components Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Apply GD&T to verify dimensions and tolerances Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators Complete inspection reports and quality documentation Identify and document nonconforming material

Qualifications:

Quality inspection experience in precision machining, metal manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similar environments Strong blueprint-reading skills Working knowledge of GD&T Experience using precision measuring equipment Strong shop math and attention to detail First Article Inspection experience preferred CMM experience is a plus
