Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for an aerospace manufacturing client of ours located in Westfield, MA. You will ensure manufactured goods meet strict customer specifications before delivery through rigorous visual and dimensional inspections. This will be a Mon-Fri 7/7:30am-4/4:30pm and will require some overtime on occasion.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspections:
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, thread/go/no-go gages, and surface profilometers).
Documentation:
Log inspection results into the ERP system and write Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
Blueprints & GD&T:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, operation sheets, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Safety & 6
S:
Adhere to safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean 6S work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing inspection experience (Aerospace industry background preferred).
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with measuring equipment, basic computer/ERP skills, and machine control familiarity.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. This Quality Inspector position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals committed to maintaining high-quality standards within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
