About This Role The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all production, assembly, and quality-related records within the ERP/MRP system are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with contract requirements, OEM specifications, and internal quality procedures. Operating at the intersection of MRB support and shop floor control, this role maintains clear, traceable documentation of build activities and supports real-time workflow accuracy. This position works closely with Quality Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and Delivery teams to review, validate, and track production data, ensuring product conformance and readiness of the complete record and data package for customer delivery. The Quality Specialist proactively identifies discrepancies, supports nonconformance routing, and helps maintain a controlled and audit-ready digital record environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, update, and audit electronic production records and supporting documentation within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Create, update, and validate assembly status reports, including component tracking, time controlled parts, and time use/test data.
  • Process and verify documentation for work order initiation, execution, and closeout to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant production records.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve documentation gaps, discrepancies, and data accuracy issues.
  • Digitize, organize, and index records to ensure proper traceability, controlled access, and secure long term storage.
  • Prepare complete and compliant records packages to support assembly delivery, inspections, and customer or regulatory reviews.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence of conformance, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Safeguard confidentiality, data integrity, and controlled handling of all assemblies and associated documentation. Qualifications Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in production records management, technical documentation, or compliance-driven environments (typically 2-5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of build, manufacturing, or maintenance workflows, including documentation and component tracking practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, gaps, and data accuracy issues in records.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, specifications, and regulatory or compliance requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of data and documentation while working efficiently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in delivery, redelivery, or MRO environments.
  • Familiarity with digital records platforms, ERP/MRP systems, or other electronic documentation tools.
  • Training or coursework in maintenance records management, quality systems, or related technical disciplines.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $56,100
  • $82,900 per year.
