DOE Responsibilities:
Customer Complaint Handling:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues. Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
Non-Conforming Material Handling:
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials. Work with the production team to prevent recurrence and coordinate with suppliers for return or replacement as necessary.
Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw material to finished product. Use inspection tools and follow quality standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in elastomer fabrication. Prior experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and drawing notes. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify drawing requirement mismatches, missing features, incorrect dimensions, and documentation errors. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various departments. Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.•
