Dependable, proactive, and experienced individual to join our team in a hybrid quality control and warehouse/inventory role .
Responsibilities:
Inspect and evaluate the quality of produce upon arrival from various locations. Communicate daily with purchasing team and warehouse manager regarding product quality, inventory levels, and replenishment needs. Coordinate with buyers and warehouse team to ensure readiness for inbound product. Break down mixed loads and store products properly in assigned cooler slots. Maintain accurate documentation related to product quality and inventory. Assist in general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years experience in wholesale produce. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook . English fluency required; Spanish fluency or conversational ability is a strong plus. Able to lift up to 65 lbs overhead (i.e., full watermelon box). Comfortable working in a cold storage facility Must have a valid driver's license and a clean, ongoing driving record. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Monday-Friday.
