(T&E)
SPECIALIST - DEVELOPMENTAL TESTER
The company is seeking Test & Evaluation (T&E) Specialist - Developmental Tester to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and executing developmental by accomplishing the following duties: Experience working with a system of systems and multiple Operating systems (Ubuntu, Windows, Kali) Coordinate with Prime Contractor to understand scope of their software testing efforts and release pipeline; Coordinate with appropriate personnel to understand how the system is utilized in the Production environment and develop test cases based on system user feedback; Execute software test cases; Provide reporting and documentation of test results to Government T&E Officer; Research test escapes and develop test cases/recommendations to overcome test escapes; Provide recommendations to Government T&E officer on how to improve developmental test; Support integrated Product Team meetings; Support the development of Acquisition documents (Test & Evaluation Strategy (TES) and other documentation described in the DoD 5000 series) Experience developing and executing test automation frameworks (PyTest, Xray, Zephyr) Familiarization with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (engineering or computer science/engineering degree preferred). 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience related to systems integration, verification, and testing on a Department of Defense (DoD) program, and 5 years of devising test strategies, writing test plans, procedures and reports
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required TRAVEL Some travel may be required.
COMPENSATION
Systek determines its wages by many factors, including related experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, certifications, geographic location, contract labor category and wage rates, and organizational requirements. The estimated annual wage range at the time of job posting is $90-$140k, which represents the typical salary range for this position. In addition, Systek offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, and critical illness insurance, 401k plan, paid time off, service anniversary awards, and tuition reimbursement.
