Job Title:
QA/QC Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Specialist for a multi-year contract at Fort Meade, focusing on the EBC5 campus build-out. This significant project begins with constructing a 700,000 square foot parking garage featuring extensive electrical installations. Following the completion of the parking garage, the project advances to a 750,000 square foot office building with raised floors, interior electrical build-outs, multiple SCIF rooms, and substantial power installations in the basement. The project is slated to continue through the end of 2028. Responsibilities Lead a team of 6-7 QA workers, ensuring all documentation is completed on schedule. Provide QA/QC support for new construction projects at Fort Meade. Ensure quality control and assurance standards are met throughout the project. Maintain safety standards and procedures in alignment with federal construction requirements. Oversee electrical installation components with a focus on quality engineering and management. Manage change control processes effectively. Essential Skills 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC roles for federal construction projects. Strong background in electrical construction. Leadership skills with the ability to lead a team. Quality control, quality assurance, and construction safety expertise. US citizenship is required as per client contracts. Must pass a federal drug and background test. Additional Skills & Qualifications Army Core QCM Certification. OSHA 30 certification. Experience with USACE and site safety protocols. Work Environment The role is full-time on-site at Fort Meade, MD. The QA/QC Specialist will lead a team of 6-7 QA individuals with support from local VP/Sr Project Manager. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odenton, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
