Job Description

A rapidly growing international market leader is seeking a top performer for their Quality Inspector role. This key position will report directly to the Quality Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a stable, family oriented, business with a tremendous culture and team environment. This position is onsite at our Stevensville, MD location.
Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspects the quality of incoming components and products Completes assembly and testing audits to ensure they meet production standards Generates Corrective Action Request reports and maintains records for suppliers and internal processes Interprets drawings and applies proper gaging techniques to measure drawing dimensions such as micrometer, thread gages, hole gages and pin gages. Communicates with Quality Manager, team members and suppliers to convey findings of inspections and audits Ensures logs, documents and reports and up to date with accurate information May be asked on occasion to perform other duties not related to this job description.
Expectations:
Strong organizational and communications skills. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines. Strong time management skills. Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Energetic and self-motivated. Experience using Sage MAS200, or similar, inventory management software is preferred Experience complying with
ISO 9001
standards is preferred Team Player Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management preferred
