Job Description

Overview A growing furniture manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead to oversee quality standards throughout our production process. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring finished products meet company specifications, customer expectations, and industry quality standards while driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate has experience in furniture or woodworking manufacturing, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor. Responsibilities Lead and support the Quality Control team on the production floor. Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished furniture for quality and workmanship. Ensure products meet customer specifications, company standards, and production requirements. Identify defects, determine root causes, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain quality inspection procedures and documentation. Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Monitor production quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Train employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices. Partner with production, engineering, and management to resolve quality concerns quickly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications 3+ years of quality control experience in furniture, woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or a related manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, assembly methods, finishes, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read production drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
