Job Overview Join our dynamic quality assurance team as a Quality Inspector / Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator! In this vital role, you will ensure that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and precision. Your expertise in using advanced measurement tools and quality systems will help maintain our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to perform detailed dimensional inspections of manufactured parts. Conduct thorough quality inspections using vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to verify product specifications. Collect and analyze measurement data accurately. Release of product. Support quality management initiatives by participating in root cause analysis, trend analysis, and process improvements. Maintain meticulous records of inspection results, calibration logs for precision instruments, and non-conformance reports to ensure traceability and compliance. Requirements Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or measuring arm along with familiarity with vision inspection systems and other precision measuring instruments. Strong understanding of quality control principles within manufacturing environments adheringISO 9001.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret measurement data accurately and identify root causes of defects or inconsistencies. Knowledge of calibration procedures for tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to ensure ongoing measurement accuracy. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality assurance programs aligned with industry standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Strong communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality improvements.
