Job Description

Nikel Precision Group is hiring a Quality Inspector to inspect high-precision CNC-machined components for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and medical applications. You'll perform first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections, working directly with machinists, engineering, and the quality team. What You'll Do Inspect raw material, outside-processed material, in-process components, and finished parts. Read drawings and GD&T and choose the right inspection method for each feature. Use micrometers, calipers, height and bore gauges, pin and thread gauges, indicators, and microscopes. Keep accurate, traceable inspection records and review and approve operator records and certifications. Support operator-led in-process inspection and answer measurement questions. Identify and document nonconforming material and route it for disposition. Work with production and engineering to resolve discrepancies and support on-time delivery. What You'll Need Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading. 1+ year in quality inspection, precision machining, CNC operation or setup, or similar work. Hands-on skill with micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments. Solid shop math, attention to detail, and clear communication. High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Nice to Have First article experience on CNC-machined parts. CMM operation (programming a plus). Aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing experience;

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
