About the Role The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection programs using PC-DMIS to support our low-volume, high-mix production environment. This role goes beyond running existing programs, it requires building new inspection programs from blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements, then optimizing them for accuracy and cycle time. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in PC-DMIS programming, comfortable working from complex engineering drawings, and able to translate part tolerances into efficient, repeatable inspection routines. What You'll Do Develop new CMM inspection programs in PC-DMIS from blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications Program and optimize inspection routines for precision-machined CNC components across a wide variety of low-volume, high-mix parts Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T callouts to define accurate inspection strategies Validate and debug new and existing PC-DMIS programs to ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability Perform first-article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections as required Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances to Quality and Production teams Maintain accurate inspection records and program documentation in compliance with
