Job Description

CMM Operator Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. United States, Michigan, Byron Center 990 84th Street Southwest (Show on map) Jun 06, 2026 Description Position requires testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiling / evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain quality of products by performing the following duties: Program and execute CNC programs on the CMM Read and interpret part prints and related specifications. Perform complete layouts to complex prints and/or CAD data using a variety of measuring instruments. Certify inspection fixtures to established procedures and be able to recommend corrective action. Work with tool room personnel to dial in inspection and manufacturing fixtures. Perform off-line programming early in program development when physical parts are not yet available.
Job Requirements:
High School education or equivalent Prior inspection experience required Must possess the ability to program and run coordinate measuring machines Must be able to read and interpret part prints Must be ab le to manipulate CAD data for use in CMM programming MEC participates in the E-Verify program.
