Full-Time | Entry-Level Hoyt & Company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Screen Tech & Quality Control team member to join our production department. This is an entry-level position, and previous screen-printing experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, willing to learn, takes pride in doing things correctly, and works well in a fast-paced team environment. This position plays an important role in keeping our screen-printing department running efficiently by preparing screens, assisting press operators, inspecting finished products, and helping make sure every order meets our quality standards. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare screens for screen-printing production Burn/expose artwork onto screens Reclaim and clean used screens Coat screens with emulsion Assist with setting up and tearing down jobs on manual and automatic screen-printing presses Mix ink colors as needed Prepare garments and orders for production Inspect printed garments for quality and accuracy Count and verify garments throughout the production process Catch potential quality issues before products leave production Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready Clean presses, tools, screens, and equipment Assist with routine press and equipment maintenance Help troubleshoot production issues as they arise Assist with other production projects as assigned What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Be dependable and arrive ready to work on time Be comfortable standing for extended periods Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Be able to accurately distinguish between colors Have strong attention to detail Be able to carefully read and follow production work orders Follow instructions and established processes Work well as part of a team Be self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision Learn new processes quickly Be willing to troubleshoot and solve problems Work efficiently while maintaining quality Have a sense of urgency in a fast-paced production environment Be willing to work occasional weekends or holidays when necessary, although this is rarely required Schedule Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Four 10-hour shifts Day shift Full-time What We Offer Three-day weekends Most major holidays off Paid lunch after 60 days Paid personal days after 90 days Employee discount Paid time off Team-building events and company celebrations Opportunity to learn the screen-printing trade and grow within the company About Hoyt & Company Hoyt & Company is a growing screen-printing, embroidery, and branded merchandise company.
