Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead quality efforts across stamping, welding, crimp/assembly, and packing departments. Interpret and apply blueprint specifications to verify part conformance. Perform in-process and final inspections using a full range of measurement tools. Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, and surface plates. Utilize quality tools including control plans, check sheets, process capability analysis, and root cause problem-solving techniques. Support and guide production teams with quality-related issues. Document and report inspection results; escalate non-conformances as needed. Operate and interpret results from CMM (PC DMIS, Calypso) software. Training of production operators to processes and procedures Apply statistical methods to monitor and improve process capabilityQualifications:
ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), control charts, and capability studies Minimum 5 years of quality experience. Minimum 2 years of team lead experience. Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong knowledge of GD&T Self-motivated and able to manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of quality tools, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methodologies. PC DMIS and Calypso experience is a plus. Working knowledge ofISO 9001
