Job Description

Position Overview Rock Integration is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous CNC Panel Wiring Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precision assembly and wiring of high-end CNC control panels, primarily utilizing Fanuc CNC controls. As a key contributor to our OEM projects, you will ensure that every panel meets our rigorousinternal quality standards and remains in strict compliance with UL508A safety regulations. This position requires a "right-first-time" mentality and an exceptional eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities Precision Wiring:
Execute point-to-point wiring, component mounting, and cable routing for complex CNC control systems based on technical schematics.
Fanuc Integration:
Integrate Fanuc CNC hardware, including drives, power supplies, and I/O modules, ensuring clean and logical layouts. UL508
A Compliance:
Adhere strictly to UL508A standards for industrial control panels, including proper grounding, wire sizing, and labeling protocols.
Quality Assurance:
Perform self-inspections and continuity testing to identify and correct any deviations from the engineering design or quality benchmarks.
OEM Customization:
Adapt wiring techniques to meet specific requirements for various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) machine configurations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production logs and mark up "as-built" drawings for the engineering team.
