Job Description

Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in West Michigan to hire a Senior Quality Technician. This role supports customer quality requirements, product validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Responsibilities Review customer prints and specifications, perform dimensional inspections, and program inspection equipment Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and domestic/international suppliers to resolve PPAP-related issues Investigate and respond to customer complaints involving product, logistics, and administrative concerns Communicate project and quality issue status updates internally and externally Compile PPAP and PSW documentation, including control plans, process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs Collect and format vendor certifications and test data to meet customer requirements Coordinate external lab testing, submit samples, and review results Develop and implement inspection methods, measurement programs, and gauge procedures Create and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs) Lead problem-solving efforts and conduct internal and customer-facing process audits Perform part inspection using MicroVu, InSpec software, and optical comparators Oversee disposition of nonconforming product and ensure compliance with quality standards Maintain regulatory documentation, including
USMCA/HTS
codes and chemical compliance reporting Manage revalidation documentation processes Support additional quality functions including training, audits, and process sign-offs Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred 5+ years of experience in quality, inspection, or manufacturing environment Experience with programmable measurement equipment preferred Strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience with PPAP documentation preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ambient Recruiting—an entirely employee-owned company—is the largest independent employer in West Michigan. Pay:
$28.58 - $30.00 per hour
