This position functions as the lead HiCams Technician in the Whittier Office. This position will ensure all HiCams-related functions are following contract agreements, standards, and specifications. The position requires the performance of a wide variety of standardized and non-standardized assignments involving compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data. Work involves decision making and the use of judgment. The employee must perform a full range of calculations and computations. This position may be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. The employee will be responsible for all required HiCams and SAP entries for project records, materials, and estimates. Responsibilities include processing monthly and final estimates, checking calculations, resolving pay records and material quantity discrepancies, researching project documents, and processing material prepayments.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade and Salary Range:
NC13 $50,088-$87,654 Management prefers applicants with the following:
- Working knowledge of computer equipment (iPads, Desktop), software (HiCams and SharePoint) and mathematical functions
- Working knowledge of pay record book entries and material received reports
- Experience in maintaining neat, legible, and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
- Experience reading plans, contracts, and specifications for highway bridge construction
