Clean | structured | detail-focused manufacturing PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a leading Northern Michigan manufacturer in Kalkaska that is known for producing high-quality, precision components. This is a great opportunity to work in a quality-driven environment where attention to detail truly matters. If you're someone who notices the small things, enjoys focused work, and takes pride in accuracy, this role is a strong fit. What You'll Be Doing Perform detailed inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision tools Inspect parts under a microscope for dimensional and cosmetic quality Use small tools to deburr or adjust parts under magnification Approve or reject finished products based on quality standards Read and follow blueprints and engineering specifications Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues What We're Looking For Prior manufacturing experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused for extended periods Comfortable working with microscopes and precision tools Basic math skills and ability to follow technical instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently in a structured environment Preferred Experience Blueprint reading Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Previous quality inspection experience Familiarity with vision systems (Keyence or similar) Why You'll Like This Job Clean, organized work environment Seated work with a focus on precision rather than heavy labor Opportunity to build skills in quality inspection and manufacturing Work with a company known for high standards and consistency Stable, full-time position with long-term potential About PMP Personnel Services At PMP Personnel, we're not just a temp agency — we help connect you with long-term opportunities that match your goals.
