Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain quality control procedures Perform 1st Piece, KPC, and Inspection Activities per the Control Plan and BOS. Document Ensure Plant Floor documentation is accurate, organized, posted, and current. Identify and communicate nonconformance internally and between shifts. Verify material is properly identified. Perform incoming material inspection activities as needed. communicate and coordinate the reaction to out of control conditions. Establish and document containment- support as needed in sort, rework, and inspection activities. Ensure area of responsibility, equipment, inspection fixtures and documentation are organized, clean and in good working order and communicate any out of order conditions Document all activities as required. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, or system. Initiate, post, and monitor effectiveness of Quality Alert Collect and escalate data for supplier related issues. Deliver replacement parts to customer and investigate need of replacement. Requirements Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing or production environment. + 1 year experience Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies. A valid driver's license is required. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on quality objectives. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and training staff.
