Quality Control Technician -
New Hudson, MI Pay:
Mid-$20s per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (possible overtime on Fridays) Summary This role supports quality efforts across multiple manufacturing departments, ensuring all parts meet blueprint and customer specifications. Ideal for a detail-oriented technician with strong measurement and documentation skills. Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership — Lead and support quality activities across stamping, welding, laser, and packing departments. Blueprint Interpretation — Interpret and apply blueprint specifications to verify part conformance. In-Process Inspection — Conduct in-process and final inspections using a full range of measurement tools. Precision Measurement Tools — Utilize micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, and surface plates. Quality Tools — Use control plans, check sheets, and other quality tools to support consistent inspection. Non-Conformance Reporting — Document inspection results and escalate non-conformances appropriately. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing quality or inspection Strong understanding of measurement tools and blueprint reading Ability to work independently and support multiple departments Solid documentation and communication skills
