Temporary/Contract Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform sorting and inspection of water heater tanks in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect and sort water heater tanks according to customer quality standards. Identify and separate defective or non-conforming products. Follow inspection procedures and work instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection activities as required. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous manufacturing, production, or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment. Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift. Must adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive inspection tasks. Ability to lift materials as needed throughout the workday. Dress Code & PPE Long pants required (jeans or khakis only; no sweatpants or leggings). Polo shirt, button-up shirt, or plain T-shirt (no offensive graphics or language). Steel-toe footwear is required. Safety glasses are required.
