Quality Lab Technician We are looking for a Quality Lab Technician for our Plymouth, MI facility. In this role you will perform testing and maintain quality records to ensure materials and products meet company and customer requirements. The role supports production by providing accurate results and maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Your Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory testing and analysis (chemical, carbon, gas, particle size, flow, density, etc.) in compliance with Nadcap, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, and
OHSAS 18001
standards. Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely product testing. Prepare and maintain laboratory reports, certifications, procedures, SPC charts, and logbooks. Coordinate sample submissions to external laboratories and track results. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment while maintaining a safe lab environment. Participate in proficiency and Round Robin testing programs. Evaluate test results to verify compliance with customer and product specifications. Monitor calibration status of quality equipment and coordinate recalibration activities. Review customer purchase orders and specifications to confirm material compliance. Prepare and approve material certifications for shipments meeting customer requirements. Maintain and organize quality records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and timely retrieval. Conduct routine self-audits of quality documentation and update records as needed. Support Quality Assurance activities including reports, certifications, data entry, and documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Profile:
High school diploma required; Associate degree in Chemistry or related field preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Familiarity with standard office equipment and laboratory documentation practices Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Accountable for accuracy, quality, and timely completion of work Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
