Quality Technician Blue Water Area Pay Rate:

3rd Shift Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in the Blue Water Area. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet quality standards through inspections, testing, data collection, and continuous improvement efforts.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform part inspections according to control plans and work instructions Conduct visual inspections and use variable and attribute gauging methods Utilize measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, height gauges, and Micro-Vu systems Input SPC/SQC data and monitor process performance Identify out-of-control conditions and initiate corrective actions Perform final inspections and document product nonconformances Maintain quality records, inspection logs, and master samples Assist with training production operators on inspection procedures and quality standards Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions Maintain housekeeping standards and organized work areas Participate in continuous improvement activities and team-based problem solving Support additional quality-related projects as assigned What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation Preferred (but not required) Experience in a manufacturing or plastics environment Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) Experience using precision measuring equipment Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and documentation practices Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including close-up and color recognition tasks Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Why Work for Qualified Staffing?
