Job Description:
A detail oriented and organized individual to join our company as a CMM Operator in our Quality Department. This is a full-time position. This individual would operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and inspect precision parts under minimal supervision with keen attention to detail. Responsibilities:
Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and inspect precision parts under minimal supervision with keen attention to detail. Use various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments Interpret engineering drawings schematics, and CAD models to perform accurate measurements Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications Record and analyze measurement data using computer software Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required Ability to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands with PPE to pick up and move parts. Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and smell. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
