Job Description

Quality Technician Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Dock Auditor to support our shipping and quality operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring outgoing shipments meet customer and quality requirements by performing inspections, documentation, and coordination with Quality, Shipping, and Production teams. No prior experience required- training provided. Opportunity to work closely with Quality and shipping teams. Stable, full-time position. Hands-on role with growth opportunities. Measure the glass assembly size on the fixtures. Report any damage or failure of the checking fixtures. Responsible for data collection on the line Responsible for the daily measurement sheet for production lines Responsible for identifying rejected and rework glass. Perform primer thickness checks. Perform a 4M Line audit per week. Review the Urethane Test Samples. Perform destructive glass test as required. Review the quality and production reports, and feedback for correct filling. File and control QMS reports. Dock audit for shipment. Check and confirm the calibration status of the measuring equipment. Assist in training associates on the production lines and new inspectors. Responsible for maintaining the Hold system.
This includes:
Quarantining suspect material and completing appropriate documentation Notifying appropriate individuals Loading and releasing material on SAP Working with staff, supervisors, engineers, and managers to disposition suspect materials. Ensuring disposition is executed, and documentation is updated and maintained. Keeping their carts and workstations to a 5S standard. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor as required. SCRAP indicator as listed on the work instructions and escalation process on the line. 4M Audit compliance. Customer Quality Rejects. IATF Audit Certification. PPE must be worn at all times. Safety Glasses Safety shoes Gloves (on certain operations only) Ability to lift 25 pounds repetitively for an 8-hour shift. Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 30 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
