About the Role Lakeland Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to support product quality and production performance through hands-on inspection and verification activities. This role is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspections, ensuring all components meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. You'll play a key role in identifying issues early, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting a disciplined, high-performing manufacturing environment.

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Targeted Compensation Range:
$21-24/hour depending on experience What You'll Do Inspection & Verification Perform incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspections (FAI) Verify dimensional, visual, and functional requirements against drawings and specifications Measurement & Equipment Use Operate precision tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore/thread gauges, Trimos systems, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Ensure proper handling and care of inspection equipment Documentation & Data Integrity Accurately record inspection results in check sheets and systems Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with QMS requirements Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) and customer reporting as needed Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Identify nonconforming material and support containment procedures Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions Compliance & Safety Support internal and external audits Follow ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For 1-3 years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred Experience in machining or metal fabrication environments is strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection methods Strong attention to detail and process discipline Basic computer and data entry skills High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or certification in quality or manufacturing preferred Why You'll Love Working Here Day-One Benefits:
