Job Description
Position Summary Are you looking to develop and apply your skills while enhancing your career in a fun, innovative and growing organization? Do you have manufacturing or electrical wiring experience or are you looking to take that next step in your manufacturing or trades career? If so, we want to talk to you! Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting standard quality assurance inspections of electrical control panels and wire harnesses, completing QA documentation and more. 2nd shift openings available. Key Responsibilities Conduct standard quality assurance inspections of electrical control panels and wire harnesses Complete QA documentation and problem resolution logs Identify opportunities for improvement based on inspection and test results Perform other reasonable duties as required or requested Read, understand, and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions and diagrams Identify and relay errors to co-workers in a professional manner Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required Assist in process improvement measures Education | Experience High school education or equivalent (required) Proficiency using 'torque', hand and power tools in a safe manner ERP experience (preferred) Previous quality control inspection experience (preferred) Experience working in ISO and 5S environments (preferred) Abilities | Skills Good basic math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire) Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter
