5:45 am•3:45 pm, Monday•Thursday Benefits of the assistant quality engineer: Competitive hourly pay rate Great temporary career opportunity to build your engineering portfolio Highly desirable 4-day work week schedule with three-day weekends Collaborative and high-tech manufacturing environment Duties of the assistant quality engineer: Maintain, validate, and operate Calypso CMM programs and advanced inspection equipment from customer drawings and CAD models Review customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements prior to production release to support troubleshooting of measurement methods Perform first article inspections, first piece approvals, and complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and PPAP submissions Assist production teams with print interpretation, GD&T requirements, capability studies, and root cause investigations for corrective actions Requirements of the assistant quality engineer: Minimum of 2 years of Calypso programming and operating experience required Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and creating measurement plans Proven experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and supporting PPAP submissions Prior CNC machining experience in a job shop environment with CAD software experience is a plus Associate degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing technology, or a related field Additional information: Apply today!
