Job Description

Position Overview:
Under general supervision, evaluates and reports product conformance of vendor and finished product relative to establish quality standards.
Qualifications/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. Post high school education in engineering, quality or machining. Must be able to read blue prints. desirable High school graduate or equivalent. Post high school education in engineering, quality or machining. Must be able to read blue prints.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates measuring machine, optical comparator, hardness tester, precision measuring equipment, general inspection, measuring tools, blue prints records, reports and a computer. Must have the ability to run parts thru CMM and interpret the results. Must have a broad knowledge of inspection equipment including how to set up and calibrate the equipment and CMM probes. Must have the ability to perform First Article Inspections on the more complicated parts with little supervision. Must have the ability to do manual inspections if a re-check is required as a result of the CMM report. Inspect vendor material to ensure conformance with K&G specifications. Collects inspection data for files and reports. Must have the ability to do receiving, final and outgoing inspections. Inspect in-process products for conformance to specifications, performance inspections an all manufacturing departments. Must be able to fill in all areas of need in the QA Department

Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. Performs other related duties as necessary.

Thursday
  • Friday
  • Saturday| 6:00 AM
  • 6:30 PM ✔ 3-day work week ✔ 4
  • days off every week ✔ Overtime opportunities available or Monday to Thursday from 8:00PM
  • 6:30AM ✔ 4-day work week ✔ 3
  • day weekends every week ✔ Overtime opportunities available $28
  • 32/hour and up (based on experience)
