Quality Inspector Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local medical manufacturing facility who is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The Quality Inspector will work with assemblers and the manufacturing team to uphold quality standards. The ideal Quality Inspector has multiple years in a manufacturing environment, has an IPC 600, 610 or Std Certification, and delivers excellent communication and attention to detail. The Quality Inspector position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Fridley, MN.
Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:
Perform Standard or Recurring Inspections Such as Length, Dimensions, & Size, Visual Inspection For Imperfections & Conformance to Standards Use Equipment Such as a Microscope, Micrometer, Calipers, & Gauges to Perform Inspections & Verify Conformance to Standards Perform Basic Calculations on Test Results to Determine if Product is Within Proper Standards Complete & Review a Variety of Forms, Logs, & Reports Detailing Test Results Based on Operating Procedures Handle & Label Tools, Materials, & Equipment According to Safety & Operational Principles & Practices Comply With Operating Policies & Procedures to Maintain a Safe Environment, Quality Products, & Efficient Operations Interact With Assemblers, Technicians, or Other Team Members to
Communicate Test Results, Receive Guidance, & Provide Feedback Follow All Safety & PPE Requirements Quality Inspector Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Previous Manufacturing Experience With 1+ Years in a Quality Control Role Must be Able to Interpret Drawings & Use Small Tools Such as Microscopes, Micrometers, Calipers & Pin Gauges Solid MS Office Experience, IPC 600, 610, or J-Std Certification Required Must Have Solid Written & Verbal Communication Skills Must be Able to Lift up to 25lbs Must be Able to Pass an Eye Exam (With or Without Correction) to Meet Our Requirements For Color Vision Demonstrates The Ability to Work Under Pressure & Build Relationships Work in a
