Grow with us! If you're looking for a new opportunity, join our team of quality focused printing professionals. Carlson Packaging Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist. This individual would monitor and inspect the products being produced in the CFX / Bindery departments to ensure top quality of finished products. Perfom necessary product setup approval and monitoring while formally documenting the results. This position will also be responsible for making sure all necessary equipment is maintained and operates at the level required by our customers.

6:30am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday. Responsibilities Hourly quality pulls to confirm product compliance with each piece of equipment in the CFX/Bindery departments. Works with production operators to double sign and approve product being produced on equipment. Works with Hand Bindery to maintain product quality compliance to meet customer requirements. Trains, confirms, executes, and maintains all quality records based on external customer requirements in SOP documentation. Implement and maintain of 6S within all production departments. Identify Quality Assurance processes to ensure criteria are always met. Authority to accept or reject products as necessary; assist Production with remediation steps to correct issues. Works within the PRO system when applicable and provides input on a continual basis. Perform job duties in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company safety rules. Perform other duties as assigned by CEO/President/Quality Manager or designated representative.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/plus additional education and/or equivalent education and work experience. Understanding of Quality principles. Must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of various equipment in the CFX and Bindery departments. Must have the ability to follow written and verbal job instructions and specifications. Excellent math skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and ability to learn company ERP system and adapt to new technologies. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to resolve problems involving multiple variables. Must be able to share information with and train teammates working in the CFX and Bindery departments Must be able to meet tight schedules in a professional manner. Maintains confidential customer and company information. Communicates effectively with others. We offer a great work environment, competitive compensation and complete benefit package. $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
