Lakeville, MN Job Summary Medfab Precision Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support the inspection of precision medical components. This role is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections, supporting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), and ensuring all parts meet customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on inspection experience, a solid understanding of GD&T, and basic operational knowledge of CMM and optical measurement systems. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of medical device components Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements Complete and support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Operate CMM and optical measurement equipment at a basic to intermediate level Accurately document inspection results and maintain inspection records Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and customer requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection and documentation Maintain a clean, organized inspection area and uphold documentation control standards Required Qualifications Previous experience inspecting precision machined parts , preferably for medical devices Strong working knowledge of GD&T Experience with FAIR, in-process, and final inspections Basic operational experience with CMM and optical measurement machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail with excellent organization and documentation skills Proficiency with basic computer systems for data entry and recordkeeping Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an ISO 13485 or regulated manufacturing environment Familiarity with SPC and quality control methodologies Ability to work independently while collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams What Medfab Precision Solutions Offers Competitive pay based on experience Stable work environment in a growing medical manufacturing company Opportunity to work with high-precision medical components Supportive team-focused culture
