What We Are Looking ForWere now hiring support for our Night Shift Quality Control Team. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality checks on production lines. Have general knowledge to perform analytical testing on lab equipment. Requirements, desired qualification, skills and abilities located below. RESPONSIBILITIESFollow all procedures to maintain a safe execution of dutiesHave knowledge on the lab testing equipment-LECO Protein Analyzer, pH meter, water activity and NIR.Have knowledge of the Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used in lab testing and wear proper safety protection equipmentWork with peer, supervisors and subordinate groupsPerform quality checks on finished product off the production linesCollect samples for analytical testing and product cuttingsCollect and retain samples of all products producedMake recommendations for lab improvementsAble to work in other areas of facility if requiredQualificationsGeneral mathematical ability and basic computer skillsSelf-motivation and Good judgment and reasoning abilitiesWork shifts as required and Safe work recordGood attitude and Use of specialized lab equipmentAble to climb to working heights in excess of 20 feet and work in dusty environmentLifting in excess of 50lbs and continuous walking/standingWorking hot/cold and loud environment and occasional bending, stooping, crouching, carrying and lifting BenefitsHealth, Dental, & VisionWellness program discounts
