8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great a Quality Inspector position at a company in St. Louis, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform in-process inspections, first article inspections, PPAP, and customer-defined inspections.
• Execute quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement processes.
• Support process engineering with capability studies and internal audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Train operators on inspection methodology.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Quality Inspector Requirements:

• Strong metrology background (highly preferred).
• Knowledge of gauging practices including attribute, variable, and transfer gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with various measurement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience entering data and analyzing reports in an ERP system.
• Strong communication skills and excellent record-keeping.
• Ability to identify root causes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred but not required.
• Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands.
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Up to 5% travel.
