Remarket Space is hiring experienced automotive technicians to perform on-site vehicle inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Responsibilities Travel to assigned Inspection Location Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues including engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, electrical, and brakes Document interior and exterior condition Run OBD II diagnostic scans and log trouble codes Take prescribed photos per vehicle Perform a test drive and note driveability concerns Submit full condition report from the webapp before leaving the lot Qualifications 5+ years automotive experience (technician, dealership, body shop, service advisor, or equivalent) Proficient identifying and describing mechanical failures In-depth understanding of automotive systems and manufacturer terminology Strong attention to detail and clear report writing Valid Minnesota driver's license and clean MVR Pass a background check Equipment you provide Phone with data plan and 12 MP Camera OBD II scanner Tire tread depth gauge Pay Per inspection. Rates set in the app and vary by job type and distance. This is a 1099 contractor role.

Pay:

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
