$21.00/hour Position Summary The Quality Technician is responsible for independently evaluating finished products and incoming ingredients through a variety of testing methods, including sensory, analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing. This role requires a strong understanding of quality specifications, testing methods, and production processes, as well as the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformance issues. Key Responsibilities Participate in daily plant inspections, process monitoring, and internal audits Perform sensory evaluations and analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing on finished goods and raw materials Maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program, including swab testing and reporting results Identify and investigate non-conforming materials and products; evaluate data and recommend solutions Assist with customer complaint investigations Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality testing and programs Perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance per established procedures Prepare and deliver reports to the Quality Supervisor and other stakeholders Provide additional support to the Quality Supervisor as needed Qualifications Associate degree or certification in a science-related field preferred OR minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment or laboratory Strong ability to interpret and organize technical data for communication and analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively What We're Looking For Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and food safety Ability to work independently and make sound, data-driven decisions Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving non-conformances Willingness to learn and stay current with required training programs 10208264 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
