Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join a precision manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and performing dimensional inspections to ensure manufactured components meet blueprint, customer, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CMM experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and experience inspecting precision-machined components. Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment to inspect precision-machined parts and components. Perform dimensional and visual inspections according to blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements . Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools . Verify part dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records. Identify and communicate nonconforming parts or quality concerns. Work closely with machinists, quality personnel, and production teams to resolve inspection issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area. Follow established quality procedures and safety requirements. Qualifications Previous CMM operating experience required . Experience in a CNC machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Working knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing . Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small dimensional discrepancies. Ability to accurately document inspection results. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
