Job Description
Quality Inspector Beckwood, headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, is one of the world`s leading manufacturers of custom hydraulic presses and automation equipment and is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet the company's quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and evaluating products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the manufacturing process and delivering high-quality products to customers.

Perform incoming and in-process inspections of machined and fabricated components using tools such as micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, and thread gauges. Utilize FaroArm and other tools to complete necessary measurements. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection criteria. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records per company procedures. Document and report all non-conforming parts (NCR). Collaborate with Procurement to support supplier quality initiatives and implement a vendor inspection program. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to work toward investigating root cause issues and corresponding corrective actions. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings following GD&T principles. Maintain open lines of communication with production team to prioritize critical components. Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of an ERP system Experience operating various forklifts. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Knowledge of computers and applicable software programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) Subject to indoor and/or outdoor environmental conditions. Exceptional attention to detail required. Preferred Skills Experience with FaroArm or other similar measurement systemKey Skills & Attributes:

The employee is regularly exposed to a variety of conditions within the plant. The noise level is usually moderate. Will be exposed to manufacturing conditions including heat in the summer months and cold in the winter months. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, moving throughout the manufacturing floor to position oneself for equipment inspection or maintenance. This includes ascending/descending and working atop ladders or elevated platforms, as well as accessing machinery at varying heights, including ground level. Additionally, the position requires occasionally moving or transporting equipment or boxes weighing up to 60 pounds.
