09/07/2026 Job Description Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of precision-machined components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), strong knowledge of GD&T, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Perform precise inspections and measurements using CMM equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, to identify areas for improvement. Develop and execute inspection plans and procedures for of complex machines parts. Collect data systematically during inspections and compile comprehensive reports to support quality analysis and decision-making processes. Document inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality records. Collaborate with CNC Machinists to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and enhance overall quality systems. Participate in internal and external audits related to quality assurance, maintaining meticulous records of inspection results and compliance documentation. Identify, report, and help resolve non-conformities in collaboration with production and engineering teams. Conduct in-process, final, and return-to-vendor (RTV) inspections as required. Support quality system activities, including updates to quality documentation and procedures. Maintain calibration records and perform routine maintenance checks on inspection equipment. Maintain inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of daily quality checks. Skills Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, including the use of calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection within a machining or manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment. Proficiency in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision inspection systems for detailed dimensional assessments. Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with CNC-machined components and manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data reporting. Familiarity with ISO quality standards preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and management. Ability to perform comprehensive quality audits within manufacturing environments.
