Quality Assurance Inspector Job Type:
Full Time Pay- $20.40 an hour
Shifts:
M-F 11:30 pm - 8:00 am
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and measure parts according to specifications, prints, SOPs, and quality standards. Operate scales and measuring equipment, including calipers, pin gauges, depth gauges, and Micro-Vu. Review production schedules, prioritize assignments, and manage time effectively. Approve first and last shots and complete all required inspection and production documentation. Verify work-in-process and finished goods; follow return-to-press and quarantine procedures. Weigh, count, package, wrap, and safely transport products to the warehouse. Notify the supervisor when orders are complete. Maintain accurate inspection sheets, production records, and logbooks. Work overtime when required for shift coverage.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and follow blueprints, SOPs, production schedules, master lists, and shipping logs. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic laptop functions. Ability to safely operate scales, measuring devices, pallet jacks, and skid wrappers. Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to stand or walk for up to four hours and repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to wear steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes. Strong attendance, punctuality, communication, and teamwork. Commitment to quality, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
