Job Description

Position Summary:
Perform in-process, start-up, final and first article inspection of injection molded parts per Corelle Brands Policies and Procedures.
SHIFT:
7am-3:30pm | Monday - Friday (overtime and weekends as needed)
Primary Responsibilities:
In-process inspection of injection molded parts for critical dimensions, form, fit and function per the Corelle Brands Inspection Plans. Meet with the previous shift inspector (at shift change) to go over any production issues discovered from the off-going shift. Audit each press to ensure that the product being produced, dimensionally, visually, packaging labeling and palletizing, conform to Corelle Brands standards. Perform First Article Inspection of injection molded parts, per First Article Inspection procedure. Process discrepant Material per Nonconforming Product Standard Operating Procedure. Complete all assigned audit forms daily. The audit forms include but are not limited to: Quality Assurance Inspection Log, In-Process Visual Inspection Log, Inspection History Cards, Quality Assurance Daily Information Log and Line Clearance Log Re-Inspect the product after disposition has been completed. Assist in training manufacturing personnel on quality requirements, as necessary. Perform other duties as instructed by the Q.A. supervisor or as necessary to maintain efficient operation at Corelle Brands.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED 2+ years experience in Quality Preferably experience with working in a fast-paced assembly environment. Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. If over 50 lbs., team lift is required.
Software:
Excel, Word, Outlook Familiar with basic quality assurance tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers). Must be familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) for Variable/ Attribute charting. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to read Engineering drawings 7am-3:30pm
