Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Technician to join our manufacturing quality assurance team. In this vital role, you will operate, program, and maintain CMM equipment to ensure that all manufactured parts meet stringent quality standards. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to precision, compliance with industry standards such as IATF16949 and ISO14001, and continuous improvement in quality control processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-precision manufacturing environments, particularly within automotive manufacturing sector. Education Associates Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Communication / Engineering Responsibilities Operate and calibrate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), including PC-DMIS and other relevant software, to perform dimensional inspections of complex components. Develop and modify CMM programs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and technical schematics to accurately measure parts against engineering drawings. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise measurements. Conduct comprehensive dimensional inspections utilizing measuring instruments such as bore gauges, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and tooling to verify component specifications. Document measurement data meticulously, generate inspection reports, and communicate findings clearly to manufacturing teams for corrective actions if necessary. Maintain calibration schedules for measuring instruments and ensure all equipment operates within specified tolerances for accurate results. Experience (Preferred) Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), with proficiency in PC-DMIS or similar programming software. Strong background in quality control and assurance within aerospace or medical device manufacturing environments. Familiarity with industry standards such as
