We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team and help ensure our products consistently meet the highest quality standards. Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting purchased and manufactured components to ensure they meet company specifications and quality requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality by performing inspections, identifying defects, utilizing precision measuring equipment, and supporting continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of products and materials to verify compliance with specifications and tolerances. Use precision measuring instruments, including: Micrometers, Calipers, Height gauges, thread gauges, and gauge pins. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and inspection plans. Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming products and materials. Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to appropriate personnel. Recommend process improvements and corrective actions to enhance product quality. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspection documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others. Ability to balance quality standards while maintaining productivity. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
