Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Ensure adherence to
ISO 9001
standards, Pexco requirements, and company quality policies. Conduct routine inspections & rounds in production, fabrication, traffic, and assembly work cells to verify compliance with processes and procedures. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to confirm product quality and conformance to specifications. Support material traceability, proper documentation, and accurate record-keeping. Identify and report nonconformities; assist with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and verification of effectiveness. Segregate and control nonconforming products; ensure proper identification, labeling, and movement to MRB hold areas until disposition is made. Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and packers to promote quality awareness and continuous improvement. Maintain proper use and calibration of inspection tools and gauges. Oversee and support the sample room process including labeling, tracking, and storage. Participate in internal and external audits as needed. Support PPAP submissions, first article inspections as required. Assist with the creation and maintenance of die books, ensuring drawings, specifications, and revision levels are accurate. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
requirements and quality management systems. Familiarity with FAI, PPAP, and corrective action processes is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Effective communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor. Basic computer skills. Work Environment Frequent walking throughout the production floor and work areas is required. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, materials, and standard PPE requirements.
