We are seeking a motivated Quality Technician to support product quality review and manufacturing processes in Asheville, NC. This role involves root cause corrective action, quality documentation, and MRB workload management. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing or shop floor experience and a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities- Perform quality inspections and reviews of manufactured products and components.
- Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage non-conforming material processes and support MRB activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Utilize precision measurement tools to verify product conformity.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and quality methodologies.
- Support quality training and promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection methods.
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, industrial, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with MRB processes, quality systems, and non-conformance management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ISO, AS9100, or similar quality standards. Key Competencies
