Job Description

With reasonable accommodation if required, and with access to available supervision, conducts quality assurance inspection of (security) printed products, including raw materials/paper, in-process and finished products. Using standardized inspection methods and procedures inspects finished products as well as work-in-process, and raw materials. Performs visual inspection against fixed samples and templates Uses measuring and other instruments such as ruler, calipers, micrometers, loupes, gages, etc. templates to determine if product meets specifications Enters Quality non-conformances (QNCR's) into Intelex system and assists other employees with Intelex operation and issues Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities in real time to management. Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, using Quality Management system or manually, consistent with company policies and procedures. May occasionally assist operators with finishing operations Performs other duties as required by Quality Assurance Supervisor or other management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to perform shop math including units of measure, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and utilize metric system Knowledge of other MS Office, including Excel and other quality management and manufacturing software Excellent visual acuity, close vision and color recognition Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
