Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our furniture manufacturing team in Conover, NC. In this role, you will inspect upholstered furniture throughout the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate has furniture quality control experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Schedule Monday through
Thursday:
6:00 AM to 3:30
PM Friday:
6:00 AM to 10:00 AM Overtime as needed Responsibilities Perform detailed visual inspections of finished furniture products. Verify products match production specifications and order tickets. Ensure stitching is straight and workmanship meets quality standards. Inspect fabric and leather for holes, flaws, or defects. Confirm patterns, dimensions, legs, and finishes are correct. Complete minor repairs when appropriate. Return products to production teams for correction when quality standards are not met. Communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Furniture Manufacturing experience. High school diploma. Ability to read a ruler and production/order tickets. Ability to distinguish between different furniture finishes. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Dependable attendance and work ethic. Team-player mindset with a positive attitude. Preferred Experience in furniture manufacturing. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per day). Ability to work overtime and weekends when required. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel footwear. Work Environment Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing facility. Concrete flooring. Fast-paced production environment focused on quality and safety.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
